I'm Hannah Rae Leach, a Chicago-based audio producer, writer, teacher, and musician.

Throughout my career, I’ve produced podcasts for clients and alongside fellow creators including Storyworth, MetroHealth, HeyFranHey, and Jim Brickman. I recently wrapped season one as lead producer on NPR Ideastream’s Living For We, a journalistic-style show documenting the lived experiences of Black women in Cleveland.

I co-host and co-produce the podcast Sleepover Cinema alongside with my sister and creative partner, Audrey Leach. I also created an audible series of personal essays and profiles called Wholehearted.

As a writer, I’ve had my plays read in New York, London, and Cleveland. My play Bedroom Culture has been in development at Cleveland Pubic Theatre since early 2019 and most recently received a workshop production in CPT’s Test Flight Festival.

My sister and I co-created Too Pink Productions for our joint film ventures, and our feature-length documentary Full Out: Inside Ohio Show Choir is watchable here.

I’m also one-fourth of the Cleveland-based folk-pop quartet The Prom Queens

I graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Dramatic Writing in the spring of 2017. I’m passionate about a juicy story, glitter, and making things fun.
